Most Feed & Garden was started over 30 years ago by David Most who originally started from Roth Hatcheries down the road in a small building in Crete. After acquiring the current location in 1999, it finally became Most Feed & Garden that everyone knows. We provide lawn and garden supplies as well as pet and equine health care products and supplies. We also carry products like hay and straw, birdseed, and garden decor. Most had a great selection of bird feeders, and many that were squirrel-proof. I bought 3 with some seed, and so far, no squirrels are raiding them.
The folks that run Most were great. Very friendly and helpful.
I did have to pay 3% more for using a credit card. I understand that the card issuers charge the shops that 3%, so I see why. Nevertheless, the cards are much better for vendors than checks, and who wants to carry around hundreds of dollars in cash?
